How is thread lifting done? Key steps

Read the entire procedure as the application of threads takes place from beginning to end. The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia mostly on an outpatient basis. Thread face lifting is suitable for both women and men.

Before the procedure

A week before the procedure, it is necessary to avoid smoking and all kinds of alcohol, exclude staying under the open sun and solarium. It is not recommended, to carry out deep peelings, depilation in the area of application of threads.

Course of thread lifting

The doctor draws marks and lines on the face through which the thread will pass. The face is then pierced with an anesthetic. With the help of a special, long blunt needle (cannula), a thread is injected under it into the skin. With one end, the thread clings to the problem, sagging place, literally pulling it out. And the other end is fixed and held at the support point.

After the procedure

The first few days after tightening the thread, you should give the skin a rest, limit the use of cosmetics, refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages.

For some time, there may be a slight swelling and bruising, but within a week they will disappear on their own. It is also necessary to monitor your facial expressions for several days, not to go to baths and saunas.

How long does the effect of lifting with threads last?

The effect is achieved immediately after the threads implantation. Pls keep in mind that it will take 2 weeks for collagen to start working. The final result can be seen 2-4 weeks after the procedure. Within 1 year, the fibers dissolve (so the body just naturally absorbs the threads over time), but the effect persists even after that-for 2 years, but also longer (up to 5 years).

Is it possible to perform a plastic surgery when you already have threads?

The presence of threads is not a contraindication for performing surgical interventions, as well as any other cosmetic procedures in the area of the threads application. However, before carrying out any medical manipulation, it is obligatory required to inform the doctor about the previously undergone procedures.

Will the contours of the threads under the skin be visible?

The visible dermal pinching of threads is a consequence of improper application of the material to the skin. With proper application, the application of threads is carried out in the skin to a depth of 3-5 mm, which eliminates the likelihood of their contouring (pinching) and other negative effects.

How long after a thread lift can I get back to normal life?

The rehabilitation period lasts about 1-2 weeks. During the rehabilitation period, asymmetry, swelling, unevenness and bruising may appear. Such manifestations are the norm of the rehabilitation period and can last from a week to a month.

I want to have threads, but I'm worried if there might be an allergic reaction or if it's suitable for me?

For almost 3 decades, there have been no reported allergic reactions to PDO or Aptos threads. However, any details and considerations should be evaluated during the consultation, where the doctor will thoroughly check your medical documentation and needs.

Do large bruises and swelling always appear after thread lift application?

In fact, any interventions provoke the formation of a slight swelling, in some cases, in addition, the appearance of small bruises is possible, but all this quickly disappears. Significant hematomas can appear only in rare cases due to massive damage to small vessels in the wrong procedure or with contraindications to the patient’s body.

Why your prices for Aptos and PDO threads are different from other clinics? Do you use other threads?
